Cranberry Almond Oolong is a blend of Ceylon black tea with an almond-infused oolong from Taiwan. It's an inspirational and motivational cup of tea!
Ingredients: black tea, oolong tea, cranberries, raspberry leaves, rasberries, cinnamon, anise seed, rose hips and other natural flavors.
Steep one spoonful per 8 ounces of 195°F water for 3 minutes. Strain and serve. For iced tea, let tea slowly cool to room temperature before chilling in the refrigerator.
Cranberry Almond Oolong
- 1 tsp Cranberry Almond Oolong loose-leaf tea
- 1 cup near boiling water (195°F)
- ¼ cup milk or almond milk
- 1 Tbl creamer or sweetened condensed milk or dulce de Leche
- Vanilla syrup* to taste
- Cinnamon (optional)
Hot: In a pot, cover tea with boiling water. Steep for 3 to 5 minutes and strain into large latte mug. Meanwhile, warm the milk in a different cup. Stir in the creamer and syrup into the milk then whisk until frothy. Stir half the milk mixture into the tea and top with the remaining milk. Sprinkle with cinnamon and serve immediately.
Cold: Prepare tea as listed above. Stir in milk, creamer and syrup. Let the tea cool to room temperature. Serve over ice with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
*Variations: 1 T Creamed Honey or Ginger Syrup is recommended, but other simple syrups also work.
